8-Bit Jesus Bonus Track

It just occured to me that many of you who bought the physical copy of 8-Bit Jesus have already listened to the tracks quite a bit and burned them to a CD, so when you receive the physical copy, you might be tempted to leave it in its beautiful shrink wrap. Even for those that took a look inside, chances are, you haven’t actually listened to the disc.

Well, I think you should, because there is a bonus track on there! That’s right, it’s the gift that gives again, so go listen to the CD if you haven’t already. Track 19 is the bonus track, naturally.

For those that have not received their copy yet, I have mailed out all copies ordered before December 23rd, and a few ordered on the 23rd. The rest of you, your copies will be on their way sometime this week. Everyone should receive their copies by mid-February, except some of you international folk. I imagine yours will be along shortly after.

Also, if you ordered before the end of December, and haven’t gotten it by the end of February, shoot me an email. It’s hard to keep track of Paypal transactions, so I might miss a few, but I’m pretty sure I’m on top of this. I created a spreadsheet and everything, cause I’m a nerd like that. Still, even nerds make mistakes, so don’t hesitate to let me know if you haven’t gotten yours!

Lastly, anyone who was kind enough to blog about the inital 8-Bit Jesus album release, I would be so very honored if you would blog about the physical copy being available. You can refer your faithful readers here from the post.

Woo-hoo, BONUS TRACK!
I got my copy in the mail on Friday, I’ll definitely have to put it in for a spin. Thanks.

Ha, that’s so funny! I got the CD the other day and I just set it upright on display on top of our TV stand so that everyone can marvel at the beautiful packaging. I’ll have to check it out now!

Hi Dr. Octoroc!Just to let you know that i received my cd today(feb 24th)!

Unfortunately,i’m unable to play the cd or to extract the music tracks on my pc.Is it supposed to do that,or am i missing something here?!I had to re-download the cd from your website,as to enjoy it(minus the bonus track)…

Pierre – I’m not sure why your CD wouldn’t play, this is the first I’ve heard of one not playing. I’m assuming you played the disc in your computer? It’s possible that your player was attempting to read the disc as an mp3 CD. Try it in a CD player or car and let me know if it still wont work. Also, are you in the U.S. or a different country? That might have something to do with it. Otherwise, my only thought is it might just be a dud. If it doesn’t work at all, I’ll send another one to you.

The cd works fine in my portable cd player,so the problem must be with my pc(probably with wmp). Was able to hear the bonus track,so it’s all good!

I gotta say, it might be the best track on the album (the last five notes are a great way to end the cd!), and worth the donation!
