During the time I worked on the 8-Bit Jesus album, there were a number of tracks that either were never finished or just didn’t make it onto the final album. Of these there is one that I figured I’d throw up for download for anyone interested. This track is entitled “Wizards from the Realm of Warriors” and is based on Angels from the Realm of Glory in the style of Wizards & Warriors. Enjoy!

If you haven’t yet gotten your hands on a physical copy of the album, follow the cover image below to the official 8-Bit Jesus page. There, you can listen to the full album and purchase a copy.
Here’s the fifth small scale 3-D bead sprite model in the series of a classic TV and movie cars, Ecto-1 from the movie Ghostbusters. Check out the tutorial for the Ecto-1 bead sprite here.
Here’s the fourth small scale 3-D bead sprite model in the series of a classic TV and movie cars, the Batmobile. Among the many variations of the Batmobile over time, the one from the Animated Series was my favorite (with the Tim Burton version in close second). Check out the tutorial for the Batmobile bead sprite here.
Here’s the third small scale 3-D bead sprite model in the series of a classic TV and movie cars, the A-Team Van. Check out the tutorial for the A-Team Van bead sprite here.

I’m working on some smaller scale 3-D bead sprite models of classic TV and movie cars, starting with the De Lorean from Back to the Future. This set of cars will include tutorials for each one, so if you’re interested in making your own 3-D Bead Sprite De Lorean, check out the tutorial here.
As some of you may know already, I’m working on a new album which explores all the horribly catchy tunes of the 80’s and 90’s cartoons and TV shows in the classic NES sound format. The basic idea behind this one is “what if they were games” or, if they already made a game based on the show, “this should have been the music”. Sometime in May of this year, the album will be available in part as a free download, or in full as a physical CD, designed once again by Jude Buffum, who did the amazing artwork (as well as all the work involved in getting the hard copies made) for my unexpectedly successful 8-Bit Jesus Christmas album.
Since I like to stick by people with which I work well (and since he also happens to be my brother), Jude and I are continuing to collaborate on a number of projects, the latest of which is a combination audio/visual piece, which will be on display in the Idiot Box show at Gallery 1988, hosted by Dennis Haskins, better known as “Mr. Belding” from the cult classic 90’s TV show, Saved By The Bell. Our piece consists of what may very well be the most disturbing piece of brightly colored pixel art ever created and a NES styled rendition of the theme from the show. Visit Jude’s blog post about the show for more info.
You can hear the track at the show (see flyer for details), or if you purchase a print of the piece, you will get a free download of the track from Jude’s website. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until May to hear it.
